The Scam Exposed

The Scam Exposed: There is a new scam going around that targets Netflix users. The scam is using a fake website that looks like Netflix to steal people's personal information. The website is called memebnet.blogspot.com and it has been reported 16 times as a phishing site.

How the Scam Works

The scammers are trying to trick people into giving them their Netflix login information. They do this by sending emails or messages that look like they are from Netflix, but are actually from the fake website. The emails or messages will say something like your account has been suspended and you need to log in to fix it.

When you click on the link, it takes you to the fake website, which looks just like the real Netflix site. But if you enter your login information, the scammers will get it and can use it to steal your identity or sell your information to others.

Warning Signs

  • The website is not the real Netflix website
  • The email or message has spelling or grammar mistakes
  • The email or message is trying to create a sense of urgency

To stay safe, never click on links from emails or messages that ask you to log in to your Netflix account. Instead, go to the Netflix website directly and log in from there. Always be careful when giving out your personal information online.
